Rules for Caribbean Stud
This is the standard "Caribbean Stud" poker game. Every game is played with a
standard 52 card deck that’s shuffled after each game.
To begin the game, the player places an ante bet. Players also have the
option before the hand is dealt to place an extra bet towards a jackpot bonus.
The player and the dealer are then each dealt their own five card hand. All
of the player’s cards are dealt face up, and one of the dealer's cards is face
up and the other four are face down.
The player must then decide whether to stay in or fold. If you fold, you forfeit
your ante. If you stay in, you must add to your bet double the amount of the ante
that you initially wagered to begin the game of Caribbean Stud poker.
Assuming the player is still in and hasn’t surrendered their hand, the dealer
then looks at his/her cards. If the dealer does not have at least an Ace plus
King then the player automatically wins even money on the ante and the additional
bet is returned. If the dealer does have at least Ace plus King then the
player’s hand and the dealer’s hand are compared against one another.
If the player has the higher five card poker hand, they win even money on the
ante, and the additional bet pays according to the payoff table below. If the
dealer's hand beats the player's hand, then the player loses both the ante and
raise that the player added to their bet to continue the game.
If you have placed a bet on the jackpot you also win an additional amount
specified in the Caribbean Stud Jackpot Bonus column below.
